The app should include an explanation of the pronunciation symbols, as well as any other front matter from the printed book. With that, it would be 5 stars.
the dictionary is OK, but need a lot of addittions like iCloud Sync add Thesaurus , clipboard monitoring and new GUI design.
My favorite dictionary app, great way to learn new words since every thing is clickable. So looking up a word leads to a definition, if theres a word in there that you dont know you can click that as well. Ive learned so many new words just because of this small feature
I love this Oxford Dictionary, but there is no support to copy definitions to use in research and study materials, major lacking feature for a dictionary app. There is also an annoying back button issue which "loses" the previous search during the same session. You have to retype the search again, if you want to select the next search result(s). One work around is to simply click on the entrys title to "re-search" the word.
